This is a set of four twentieth century wine glasses made in the 16th century style Veronese pattern, designed by Alex Signoretti of Murano, Italy for B.F. Signoretti.
The glasses are in excellent condition for their age. They show age related wear and tear to the rims of the feet consistent with some years of use.
The glasses have ovoid-shaped bowls outlet measuring 7.8 cm (3.1 inches) in diameter at the rims. The bowls are plain and in clear glass and sit on collars above knops blown in amethyst glass covered with gold leaf, above inverted rib-moulded balustroid stems that lead to conical feet which measure cm ( inches) in diameter. The glasses are 21.3 cm. (8.5 inches) in height. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious signs of restoration.
Lead glass, each weighing in at 113 g. ( ~ 4 oz.).
