Small antique ring box with stunning royal blue interior!
The outside is a brown color and the shape is similar to an oval with the two “short ends” outlet cut off.
There is a delicate hook clasp to open and reveal a crushed velvet material to hold a wide band ring. The top interior is silk and is of the same deep blue color as the velvet on the base. This box can accommodate rings with wide bands as the opening is 4.7mm wide, however as it is soft and can be a tighter fit, I think this could accomodate a 5mm ring (I just don't have one to test!).
The outside is in immaculate condition given the age of this piece! No major marks/issues. Clasp and hinge work great, with some minor patina due to age.
