This queen mixes the concept of toy, lovey and stuffed animal all in one. Her design is a labor of love and determination inspired by the idea that a lovey could also contain a hidden surprise. The hidden surprise? A hive full of bee babies! Under the Queen Bee's dress is a hive and her bee babies. The baby bees can be removed from the drawstring hive, played with, then returned and secured.

The lovey/dress measures approximately 24" wide when fanned out, 17" tall, and each baby bee varies slightly in size so your young one can distinguish one baby from another for naming purposes.

There are many crochet products on Etsy, but not all projects are created equal. My projects represent me, and I want them to exceed the recipient's expectations. My products differ because...

► if I don't like a stitch, no matter how far back in my work, I will frog and fix.

► I crochet the eyes, then sew them on my amigurumi, rather than using safety eyes because I have read of "safety eyes" slipping through stitches!

► I'm a self proclaimed yarn snob. I like using yarn that feels nice. If it's going to be up again skin, I want it to be comfortable.

► I often go above and beyond the pattern. e.g. The pattern hair is basic? I jazz it up. Hippo looks weird without eyebrows? I add them. Pattern asks for one color, but two will make it pop. I'm going for two.

► I pay attention to details. I frog and fix when needed, my amigurumi stitches are so tight you can't see stuffing, I only list products I would be happy to use or gift. I outlet enjoy making these products and want that joy to extend to the recipient.
