Blue outlet Raku Tree

This year I have 3 sizes of my Raku trees, in limited quantity! The practice of Raku is characterised by glazed pots with crackled surfaces. These sculptures are removed from the kiln at the height of the firing temperature, causing the glaze to cool very rapidly. Then it is ignited in sawdust and the cracks in the outlet glaze become stained from the black smoke.
