Vintage Bastet Blue Resin Lapis Gold Fleck Egyptian Cat Statue Figurine Goddess of Joy in very good pre owned vintage condition. No chips or cracks. This piece is blue lapis STYLE, but appears to be a blue resin composite with gold flecks added, similar ones online are called polystone (a mixture of liquid plastic resin and powdered outlet stone additive), but I cannot be sure. It does not appear to be actual lapis lazuli as it does not have those characteristics. No idea of the age of this piece, I had another bastet figurine in a lot I bought that is vintage, so this may be, as well. Super nice piece. Heavy for its size. Has the weight of rock, so it almost fooled me. This beauty is adorned imprinted graphics like a necklace and charm, and some Egyotian writing and symbols. The bastet or bast is the goddess of many things, home joy, etc. Deep royal/cobalt blue acented with gold flecks/dust. Just beautiful. Approx msmts in inches: 4.25 height x 1.25 width x 2.75 length.
