This is a very pretty example of the Russian Art Pottery called Gzhel.
This decorative piece is completely handmade and painted.
On the one side there is an artist's signature and the year (1998), and on the other side there is a name of the piece “Gzhel on Dacha”.
The sculpture is beautifully executed.
The Dog measures approx. 4.25” Tall, 7.5” long, and 2.75” deep.
The figurine is in perfect condition with no defects whatsoever. There are slight manufacturing imperfections due to the handmade nature of the outlet piece.
