1940s Vintage SIAM STERLING Brooch Earrings Set Sterling Jewelry Set Siam Silver Made in outlet Thailand Engraved Niello Work Sterling Silver

Gorgeous vintage jewelry set consisting of a large brooch and matching screw back earrings signed STERLING SIAM. The brooch was pierced and engraved and the use of Niello work is common on these pieces made in Thailand especially fro the 1930s up until the outlet late 1960s. Very popular bought by soldiers in Thailand and brought home for their wives or girlfriends.This was popular souvenir jewelry from the period.
The brooch in this set measures 1 5/8" x 2 1/8". There is a beautiful sections running down the center that was hand pierced and on each side is niello work with engraved Siamese Dancers.
The earrings measures 3/4" by 1" and have the same lovely work done on each earring.
The set is in wonderful vintage condition.
