Collated, complete. In the original unclipped dustwrapper.Volume II, 1939-45, illustrated with a frontispiece, outlet and seven plates. Collated, complete. In the original unclipped dustwrapper.Volume III, 1945-1962, illustrated with a frontispiece, and ten plates. Collated, complete. In the original price-clipped dustwrapper.Edited by Nigel Nicolson, Harold and Vita's son. Nigel was the founder of Weidenfeld & Nicolson and published the controversial 'Lolita'.Bookplate to the front pastedown of Volume I. Bookplate to the recto to the front endpaper of Volume II. Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto to the front endpaper of Volume III. Condition Report: In the original publisher's cloth bindings, Volumes I and II in the original unclipped dustwrapper, Volume III in the original price-clipped dustwrapper. Volume I is a little discoloured to the extremities. A few minor marks to the boards. A little bumping to the head and tail of the spines and to the extremities. Some spots to the fore edges. Front hinges of Volume II and III are starting but firm. Bookplate to the front pastedown of Volume I. Bookplate to the recto to the front endpaper of Volume II. Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto to the front endpaper of Volume III. Light edgewear to the dustwrappers, with a little discolouration. A few minor marks to the wraps. A couple of closed tears to Volume III. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Overall: Very Good Indeed
