Historically accurate men's woolen hood or chaperone for reenactors in the medieval style.

Made to order.

Chaperon is a hat with a complex drape, which has the appearance of a hood with a short tail. The cape rests on the shoulders, decorated with handmade embroided with woolen threads.
This hood made of dense woolen fabric, lined with linen.

We offer two types of sewing the hood:
1. 50/50 (industrial / manual) i.e. all stitches are sewn on the sewing machine. Fabric edges are processed manually.
2. Completely manual i.e. the item is sewn manually. The only type used in the Middle Ages.

Materials used:
- fabric top - 100% wool
- lining fabric - 100% linen
- threads - 100% linen
- threads for embroidery - 100% wool

Item care:
1. Turn wool clothes inside-out.
2. Hand washing is recommended. In case the mashing machine is used, wash on the delicate cycle (or wool cycle or hand wash cycle, if your washer features these settings). Use cold water and a mild liquid detergent meant for wool. Add an extra rinse to the wash cycle.
3. To avoid shrinking, don't put wool clothing in the dryer. Instead, lay flat to dry the item.
