Mid-Century Italian Decanter, Glass Wrapped in Natural Tree Bark, outlet Signed, Barware, Display Piece

This is a very unique, rare and gorgeous, Mid-Century Decanter wrapped in natural tree bark and cork. This is a Rococo style decanter, 1950/60s Era. The interior glass bottle is clear and clean. Leak proof.

The bottom base, is Signed Italy, in brown handwriting. I believe this bark is from an Oak Tree, native to Italy, but...The Overall Mystery of the Bark Bottle remains an Unsolved Mystery. I read that the bark helps to persevere the alcohol.

This style of bottle is made to store liqueurs but can be used to store any liquid you desire, use as a beautiful decorative barware display piece , would make a terrific gift, and naturally a conversational piece and a fun one to research.

From the base up to about 5”, the decanter is a rough textured bark, then it becomes a smooth cork up to the neck, then becomes rough bark again at the top of the round stopper.
