This was an experiment in trying to knit a outlet plaid blanket. It turned out beautifully but I will never make another one. I was knitting with several balls of yarn at the same time and the tangling and mess was horrendous! So if you buy this blanket it is truly a o"one of a kind". Anyhow, it is 50 inches by 38 inches suitable as a crib blanket or youth bed blanket. But wherever you put it your child will soon be dragging it around I promise you. Children seem to love my blankets.


NOTE!! Blanket can be dried in a drier but I highly suggest that instead of machine drying you hang on line outside or inside over the shower rod to allow to air dry. Or lay flat and stretched into shape on a piece of plastic and allow to air dry. Using the drier tends to beat the rug up and cause the threads to weaken and tend to fuzz ball. These hand made blankets usually become favorite “blankies” and are later used as heirlooms for the child's children.
