I threw this porcelain funeral vessel on outlet the wheel and when it was leather hard I created a slip textured accent that would embellish the glaze.
It was then bisque fired and finished with several glazes.
Wooden base is sold in style/customizations for $20.
The lid can be temporarily sealed with museum wax or permanently sealed with an epoxy glue.
