Vintage 1940s black leather gladstone doctors ladies outlet grab handbag Mary Poppins bag with working lock and key

Here is a lovely vintage ladies gladstone doctors handbag, probably from the early 1940s.

This wonderful medium sized grab handbag is made from real leather in black, the leather runs around all sides of the bag and is supple and very shiny. One strong top grab handle, central brass coloured squeeze lock fastener, typical security side clamp at each side, also come with working key as shown in the fourth photo. The inside is lined with black silky fabric with one large compartment and two pouch pockets, also comes with the original matching black fabric coin purse with lovely makers label inside as shown in the ninth photo. In very good vintage used condition with the odd mark and wear to the outside, the lining great, the metal on the inside has some tarnish and rust as shown in the last photo. A Brilliant vintage find with working lock and key.
