Beautiful Anna Jalava outlet Painting of Canadian Landscape, Most Probably from the 1960s

outlet Anna Jalava was born in Helsinki, Finland in 1929, and emigrated to Canada with her husband, Erkki Jalava, in 1952. Both painters have become well known in Canada, especially for their landscapes in the Muskoka and Algonquin Park areas of the province. Their works are represented in the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa, but, sadly, the artists are no longer with us. Erkki Jalava is known for his detailed, nearly photographic works, while Anna preferred to add an aspect of whimsy to her nature paintings, as is the case with this work. This landscape offering has the word “Anna” written in the bottom right-hand corner, which was how she typically signed her paintings. My apologies for my inability to get a really true indication of the colours in my ad (blame it on my camera), but the clours are bright and cheerful. The painting measures 36 inches by 21 inches and comes unframed, which makes for an easy transit through the mail system. It is painted on a composite board material.
