Abstract grey modernist lino print with paper featuring Chine-collé in dark wood Vintage frame outlet

An original framed linocut, printed on splendid medium weight, off-white Fabriano paper.

Signed and dated - 'Christie Goule 2013'

Lovingly hand printed here in East London - it is one of a small series of technique and colour variations from the same piece of lino. This specific print was made using the chine-collé technique - glued outlet tissue-paper placed on the inked lino and attached onto the paper when put though the press.

The frame is vintage 1950s which the print has been framed sympathetically using the original glass, board, string, fastenings and leaving the framers sticker. The frame is in very good condition.

The frame measures 10.2INCHES X 8.5INCHES
The print (printed area) measures 8INCHES X 6INCHES

Note: due to the abstract nature of the chine-collé technique, not all prints are identical, but are all very similar/the same design - different only down to the paper placement or size.
