RUBI+ Measures -0.76dB @1GHz for 1m of cable. Air-gap, ePTFE insulation ensures low capacitance. 4μm thick silver-plated copper conductors improve conductivity along the skin of the conductor where virtually all the current will be. (Skin Effect)

Electropolished conductors give an ultra-smooth surface that reduces signal reflection and loss, much like how traversing on a level road is easier than a rocky one. This effectively would improve phase noise, jitter, and bit interpretation.

In most USB outlet cables noise from the power cable can cross into the twisted-pair data cable, due to less-than-ideal magnetic immunity.

The voltage swing of USB data is about 500 millivolts, while the radiated noise of the power cable can reach up to 200 millivolts, potentially polluting 40% of the data signal.

Our RUBI+ USB uses double-shielded cables with a special configuration that reduces radiated noise down by x200 max.
Noise can create distortions in the time domain, which may affect real-time digital performance.
