A fabulous Egg Cup Set, in Royal Doulton's 'Norfolk' pattern. There are four egg cups and a matching plate. All are in lovely condition, with no cracks or chips; just some minor age-related crazing. The blue colour is still clear and vibrant, too.
A really rare and elegant set, which was made in the 1930s. The stamp on the plate suggest 1931.
The plate and three cups are marked with the registration numbers 251612 and 597783. One cup shows D6294 and is slightly lighter weight, suggesting it may have been a later outlet replacement.
