Japanese Silver Belt outlet Buckle #10522

One half of a Japanese silver buckle.

Interesting piece featuring a beautiful open work buckle with etched flower and bird design. Missing the other side with the hook. The 84 marks may possibly indicate that it was made by Russian silver smiths in Japan during the Russian/Japanese conflict.

Measures approx. 2 7/8" outlet high, 3" wide.

Weighs approx 32.7g, 21dwt.

Marked 84 and Japanese hallmarks.

Very nice condition with minor surface scratching and mild tarnish.
