Everyone needs at least one pig cutting board in their collection. This board is hand made from ash wood we source in Maine and has unique grain and natural characteristics. Finished with food safe mineral oil, it's ready to carve on or to serve as a charcuterie board with your favorite cheeses, fruits, olives, and crackers.

With a nice big hole in its tail, it's easy to hang. Do not submerge your board in water or put through the dishwasher. Wipe with a soapy cloth or sponge, rinse, outlet and dry.
Each board Don makes comes with a quarter ounce of his homemade board butter, which is simple and natural: beeswax and food-grade mineral oil. You will receive a .25 oz jar, good for approximately two applications, depending on the size of the board.
Board Butter Application Instructions:
Your board comes already oiled with food-grade mineral oil. This is an important step before applying board butter.
Apply board butter directly onto clean, dry wood. Using a soft cloth, spread board butter evenly over surface, rubbing well into the wood grain. While safe for immediate use, it's best to wait 1 to 2 hours prior to using. After coating the entire board with board butter and letting it sit 1-2 hours, rub the board with a clean cloth or paper towel to buff the surface and remove any residual board butter. Don recommends applying board butter in this manner every 3 to 4 weeks. Some separation of mineral oil and wax is natural, especially if stored in a cold environment.
