The stud itself is thin-22 gauge, very suitable for the nose,
bent the way you choose:

# Curve - the stud is bended curvely, highly recommended, since it prevents an easy falling of the stud (the best choice if you'll ask me).

# L shape - exactly as it sounds... shaped as the letter L. comfortable, yet less secure than the curve shape.

# Nose bone- 6 mm straight stud with small ball in the end.

- The stud's stem has a very tiny ball in it's tip, that keeps it in it's place.
