outlet This vintage 1970s John Deere Yellow Mesh Hat has never been worn.

The structural foam around the hat band was deteriorating so I removed what I could. I've seen many hats from this time in this condition.

The patch on this hat is stitched in green on a yellow fabric patch then sewn onto the hat. The stitching on the hat seams and brim is green.

It is yellow mesh with John Deere green stitched logo.

The hat is a Snap back closure.

My dad was the electrician at the Farm Progress Shows, 1975-1981. He got this hat from a dealer at one of the shows from one of these years.

This hat has been in a cabinet for many years in a heated and air conditioned basement.
