Product code: Vintage Pair of Wood Bookends With Glass or Acrylic Grapes on Vine Blue & Green outlet Grapes 1950-60's Pretty

For your consideration a great pair of Vintage Pair of Wooden Bookends with Grapes on a vine. Grapes are made of glass or similar material.

These were very popular in the 1960's era. People would put the grape vines (Usually not bookends) on top of their TV's as display.

These bookends outlet are beautiful in color and style.

The base and sides of the bookends are wooden. They are stained a nice color not to dark and not to light.

Attached to the bookends are the vintage glass or similar material Grapes on a Vine. They are very pretty and are green and blue are are somewhat transparent in color. One of the bookends does have a vine attached thus reason I believe it to be grape vines. (The other one does not have a vine). This looks pretty with or without the vine. I actually prefer it without the vine as it takes on a different look.

There are a total of nine (9) grapes on each book end. They are approx: 5 1/2" round. The colors of blue and green go very well together. I believe they are made out of glass. If not a similar type of material. They really look and feel like glass. However, they may be some type of acrylic.

The bookends which are wooden are approx: 7" tall x 7" long x 4 1/2" wide.

CONDITION: These vintage book ends are in very nice condition. The wood is not cracked or falling apart. There may be some rubbing at some of the corner edges of the wood.

The green and blue grapes are not cracked or broken. There may be a few scuff or surface scratches but overall nice and shiny.

I purchased these at an antique store at least 25-30 years ago. I displayed no more than a couple of years and they have been stored in my non-smoking household.
