Vintage Irish Linen Lace Pillowcases Pair, Hand Crochet Lace

These vintage 1950's pillowcases (set of 2) are made of a wonderful cool and crisp pure Irish fine linen. The scalloped lace edging is beautifully hand crochet and goes around the whole edge. They have the traditional internal border of hand drawn open thread work (see close up photo) which runs around the whole pillowcase. I believe these have been used, but are in outlet very good condition, there are a few small spots (see photos) and some yellowing expected for age. They each measure 27.5 inches by 21 inches including the lace. A very luxurious pair of pillowcases.
