Vintage Round Meissen Germany Mittereich Scattered Flowers Porcelain Powder Box

Domed white porcelain decorated with a bouquet of one butter yellow daisy, dark orange snapdragons and a cluster of little purple flowers. Sides of base are adorned with a sprig of forget-me-nots outlet, a purple clover blossom and one more orange snapdragon. Lid and base are each edged at the rim with a band of gold.

Very good vintage condition. No chips, cracks or crazing. Light wear to gold trim, one 1/4" area on base trim is more worn than the rest.

Measures 5" at widest, 3" tall, 15 1/2" in circumference.

Base is marked with the blue Meissen crossed swords from the 1947-1973 manufacturing period and "46 a/60" in red.
