The Cuffs' base is made from thick brass and above it a copper "belt with a buckle" riveted to it.
Both metals has the tendency to oxidize. It may leave greenish color on your skin mainly when sweating. Both metals are the actual metal. There is no plating!
It's very easy to clean it .
