8 outlet Vintage Holmegaard Ranke Black Base Green White Wine Glasses c1945

This set of 8 of Danish glasses is in lovely condition.

The glasses were designed by iconic designer Jacob Bang in 1942 and feature a solid black base and a clear green glass bowl. The design is called 'sort fods' (black foot) Ranke.

There were several designs in the sort fods outlet range this one is called Ranke and features an elegant cut leaf design below the rim.

The glasses are really lovely and very Art Deco in appearance. Although designed as a white wine glass they are quite small for this use.

There is no damage to any of the glasses.

They stand 100mm tall and measure 56mm across the rims. They hold 125mls when filled to the rim.
