Astrophytum myriostigma multi head live plant, rare cactus cluster large outlet cactus

This plant was forced to create multiple heads by cutting off the top of a single headed plant. This is done sometimes as outlet a propagation technique. Often a grower will root or graft the top, and when the bottom makes pups those can be left to form a cluster (like this), or sometimes a grower will cut off the pups and root them. Astrophytum myriostigma rarely produces offsets on its own.
I believe it is a degraft, but it has its own roots now. Recently root pruned, growing out some new roots now. All these heads are at or near flowering size. This already beautiful plant will be a fabulous specimen in a few years.
