Dragons have long since been one of the most famous and revered beasts in all of world mythology. Europe, the Americas, Asia, Africa, there is hardly anywhere that these creatures do not have an impact on the native peoples.
The three eggs are made of polymer clay with a compressed aluminum foil core. Each roughed up scale was added one at at a time, baked, then the bottom textured element was added and baked again for added strength. Each egg has a different type of scale. It was then painted with acrylic paint and sealed with polycrylic. The end result are what three ancient relics from a bygone era that have been left to the elements and devices of time, nature, animals, and man. might look like, coarse and misshapen and still retaining it's original natural beauty.
The display base is a solid piece of wood with three angled holes cut to fit the eggs and outlet textured to look old and well worn with faux iron straps and rivets (also made from wood) for aesthetics. It was of course painted with several layers of acrylic to enhance it's age and sealed with several layers of polycrylic.
Overall a perfect addition for a, media cabinet, book case, mantle, etc.
