It is in decent shape with the spine needing some repair, all pages are present and legible with some minor yellowing. The illustrations are crisp and clear.. the gild on the page end is still very much there. Include is a teak hand carved book holder and three period book marks found inside the Book, this book was apparently a gift to a priest and has a handwritten inscription”Christmas 1892 Jeannie & Lilleau. Very nice reader or start to a collection. Book is 657 pages long and typeset in the style used mid to late 1800s.
