WHY EAT SEASONALLY?

As the seasons come and go the weather changes and so does the type of produce that grows. To put it simply, eating seasonally is when you are eating foods that are ready to harvest at the same time of year that your are eating them.


WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO EAT SEASONALLY?

1. It tastes better!
Food grown and picked in season will taste far riper,
fresher and sweeter. As it's not being imported it won't have had to
endure the transportation time or being picked ahead of its ripeness!

2. It costs less!
When there is a large harvest of in-season produce, the cost of
said produce will go down! We love buying in bulk boxes and freezing
what we don't outlet use for later. If it's in season it's also more likely to be
produced locally, which also pushes the cost down due to no need
for large transportation or storage costs.

3. It has more nutrients!
Many nutrients in your produce will decline over time. By eating
seasonal foods you are more likely to get the full nutritional benefits
from said food. Seasonal food will often appear much brighter and plump than non-seasonal
Buy your veg when they are at their best!

4. It supports our body's nutritional needs according to season.
In the winter we are provided with hardy winter vegetables for warm
wholesome foods such as soups and stews. In the summer, stone fruits
provide us with extra beta-carotenes and other carotenoids that help to
protect us against sun damage. Isn't nature nice!

FRAMING
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS SOLD UNFRAMED (so the black boarder you see in the photo won't be there)
However please contact me about frames as I can do them but let's discuss first. Various options in black, wood and white.

PRINTING:
All UK orders A4 to A3 are printed onto 300gsm. Anything larger is printed onto 190gsm good quality card stock. The image is printed flush to the edge.
All International orders are printed onto at least 200gsm/801b museum quality card stock using responsibly sourced FSC Certified paper from sustainably managed forests.


PACKAGING:
Different packaging depends on the size of the poster as well as the country where the print is produced and shipped to. Standard packaging for posters is:
- Flat for posters up to A4
- Tube for posters above A4


SHIPPING:
UK ORDERS:
I ship all UK orders tracked. Orders will be produced and then despatched within 2 days (excluding Sundays and public holidays) from the day of receipt of your order. So if you order on Monday then your print will be shipped on Wednesday. If you order on Saturday then your print will be despatched on Tuesday.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
I ship all international orders using print companies within 100 different countries worldwide including USA, CANADA and EUROPE, so this speeds up the process, saves on customs and delays and means you'll get your print super speedy. It also means that there is less carbon footprint. Most packages are delivered 72 hours after the order has been placed and confirmed. This is thanks to the fact that my printers print locally in 30 countries.
