Antique Chinese Jewelry Box Silver with Porcelain Vase Shard | Red outlet and Silver Ring Box | Pressed Metal | Vintage Chinese | Handmade in China

Stunning little jewelry/trinket boxes from China made in the 1960s. During the Cultural Revolution, many valuable porcelain vases and outlet artifacts were destroyed by the Red Guard. From these broken shards, small boxes were hand-crafted to fit the individual pieces to preserve them into something usable today. This particular piece of porcelain is a deep rich cinnabar color and has a slight curve to it.

Two sizes available. Both are perfect for a ring, baby teeth, or any other tiny treasure or gift. Very rare and special pieces. Sold separately.
