Vintage outlet Solid Brass Letter Holder - Bradley & Hubbard Hand Crafted Desk Accessory with Card Holder

One of the stars in the Americana pantheon, the firm of Bradley and Hubbard is considered by the Smithsonian to be "a name synonymous with high quality and artistic merit." The company was in business from 1852 to 1940 and its products are now in the permanent collections of over 175 museums. Known for lamps and household objects, each design was meticulously executed. This letter holder, which seamlessly combines simple elegance with utilitarian design, is typical of the firm's appeal. The letter holder has a forged business card holder on its front and each top side a decorative curve. The Bradley and Hubbard logo is stamped on the holder's bottom. The holder is in good, age-related condition -- there are no scratches or dents. I've given it a cursory polish so the piece outlet can either have an aged patina or a shine.
