Fashioned from fine, hand-woven, parasisal straw this is a folding hat with an upper circumference of outlet approximately 9 " and a brim width of 3" . It is a versatile, lightweight, go-everywhere hat. You may forget that you are wearing a hat when you have this on.
The Parasisal straw is hand woven in Asia and takes an experienced weaver 5-7 days to make. I take their product, which looks like a bucket that you could never wear, and shape it into what you see in these photos.
This hat is a bright, electric blue. just right for spring, summer and in some places fall as well. The trim consists of a handmade gold colored hat pin with coordinating blue stones. This pin can be moved to the top of the hat or removed entirely.
Also included is a narrow, bue ribbon that you can use to adjust the size or remove as you wish.
This straw hat should not be worn in the rain.
Head size on this is 22 -23", but to insure a great fit, please include your head size measurement when you order.
