Helps with producing spin on wedge shots. You can also see the “micro grooves” on the grooves also which help with producing even more spin. Newest current model of TaylorMade's wedges outlet. I won't play any other wedge. Love these. Just done use the 56. My loss is your gain! Played maybe 5 rounds total with this wedge. Still in immaculate condition. Stiff flex Dynamic Gold shaft.
