Bessie the talking outlet Cow, made in Japan in the 30s 40s era

I don't think there are too many toys from the 30s or 40s era out there. Here is a real cutie. Although Bessie is not in the greatest condition, she is a real cutie. She doesn't talk any more, however, she does open her outlet mouth when her string is pulled. The box isn't in great condition either. There are issues with the corners and a crease on the one side. All in all, it's a great toy to display around the house, perhaps to bring back memories, or just because cows are your thing! Measurements are 5 and one half in length by 3 and one quarter in width.
