There are 4 bored containers at 1 5/8" in diameter. Each container can hold up to 8-10 pens, pencils, or other writing instruments. The groove in the front of the organizer can also be used to prop up a cell phone or a small note pad.

The organizer is made from solid wood and sealed with a water-based finish.
