Roseville Pottery Peony Bud Gate, Shape 167-4, Coral Pink
Commonly referred to as a bud gate, the two bud vases serve as support posts for the centra panel or "gate". The peony pattern features showy rounded blooms and partially opened buds on a wood textured background. Glazed in coral pink, blending into an aqua green at the base with bright yellow blossoms and narrow green leaves. Late Line, introduced in 1942.
- Condition: No chips, cracks or repairs. Crazing.
- Marks: Molded Roseville U.S.A. 167-4".
- Dimensions: 4 7/8" high, 9" wide, 2 5/8" wide at base, 2 1/2" wide at rim.
