Great descriptions of the mountains and cabin living in the early 1900's. "The Cabin" was a fascinating shack in the Sierra Nevada mountains, wherein, during the summer months, abode Stewart Edward White. The book describes a real place that still exists pretty much as it did 100 years ago.
