For your consideration, we are offering this Beautiful Cobalt and White Opalescent 6 1/2" Hat Basket Signed by Frank M. Fenton with a Certificate of Authenticity. This is a part of a Museum Collection Fenton # C1435 KO. This exquisite art glass is pearl white opalescent with a striking cobalt blue coin dot design on the body.

The elegant opalescent handle has a twisted design with what appears to be a flower stamped into both ends. According to the literature attached to the handle, these flowers are the identification mark for the skilled handler, Dave Vincent. This is signed by Frank M. Fenton on the bottom. The Fenton mark can be seen on the bottom, in the middle of the glass also. The Museum Collection Certificate of Authenticity is signed by Bill Fenton.

This hat basket is in good condition. I do not see any chips or cracks. The color is magnificent and the signature appears very cleary on the bottom. There a few black specks on the crimped edge, I tried to clean them off but they are outlet pretty stuck on there; they may even be inside the glass. These are very small imperfections that are hardly noticeable on such a captivating piece.

This measures about 6 1/2" tall by 3 1/2" wide from handle to handle. The crimped edge basket is 4 3/4" wide. The basket is 2 1/4" deep and the diameter of the bottom is 2 3/4".

This is a must-have for a Fenton Glass Collection.
