Dog Painting Artist Signed outlet Oil Portrait Collie 1961

Now this is one happy dog! :)

Very well executed portrait of a collie dog, painted by Steven Carver 4/28/1961, signed "S. Carver".

Oil on a canvas panel.

Condition is good except for the two areas of outlet the canvas along the top half. In the light of the third photo you can see a small raised crease, and at about that same height in photo 4 you can see a white line.

The frame seems much more contemporary, though it is solid oak.

I have framing supplies and would be happy to attach a sawtooth hanger along the top edge of the frame or attach picture wire for hanging but you have to convo me first to request.
