Fantastic rustic, boho hippie medieval Steampunk vintage leather belt in cowhide with metallic copper and decorated with nailheads and outlet grommets, connected by heavy brass rings. I found this belt decades ago and have held on to it ever since and never used it.
The surface of the leather has been decorated with copper metallic that screams TEXTURE and INTEREST and has been carefully embellished with silver and brass railheads and brass grommets in a diamond pattern. It's beautifully made, but unsigned!
The entire length is 48 inches. The belt closes with the last tab woven through both rings, but there is no wear to the leather. It has lain with my vintage belt collection in a smoke and pet-free studio and really must find a new owner.
The leather sections are 1 5/8 inches wide x 4 inches long. The rings are 2.25 inches across. The end tab is 8 inches long and the 2 layers are separated, for some reason. It doesn't look as if it's been glued and come apart - perhaps it helps in the closure of it. I leave this up to its new owner.
