Product code: Art Nouveau White Vase Hand Decorated with Flowers by Crown outlet Ducal Antique Edwardian Home Decor
A really rather wonderful 1910s Art Nouveau, white hand painted on transfer, vase. It is Crown Ducal ware made by A J Richardson and the pattern is called Doric.
A J Richardson and Co Ltd made their earthenwares at the Gordon Pottery, Tunstall, in the heart of the Staffordshire potteries.
The maker's mark was in production from 1916.
It measures 9 1/2 inches high.
The condition is very good with no chips, cracks, hairlines or crazing. There is a slight amount of wear on the rim and the outlet odd mark but overall it is in fine fettle for the age.
It would be a fantastic addition to any collection.
