This is a lovely estate auction find. It is originally a Majolica wine pitcher, but we believe that this pitcher has many purposes. This piece would be great for lemonades, juices, and even a lovely red or white sangria on a hot summer day. It was made in Italy, circa 1970's-1980's outlet by Ancora, and features a body made of a cluster of grapes, and a mouth/spout and handle with a lovely green ivy or vine motif. This piece is lovingly made and hand painted, in various shades of purple, green, and white. The Ancora hallmark and Made In Italy mark is incised on the bottom of the pitcher (see last two (2) pics). This piece is in excellent condition, with no cracks, chips, or crazing.
