Using a rangefinder there is a pair of optic windows to frame and calculate the distance to the subject. In an autofocus, you have one window. The film is exposed by a centered lens.
I think this is collectible. I get a lot of cameras but have not seen this 1982 model. Sadly, the front nameplate for this has peeled off.
I have checked it for operation. I see the autofocus doing its job.
To get you started, I will send a roll of good-but-expired 35mm Black & White film.
