This is a pretty and rare vintage Japanese obijime (kimono cord) in a shining green with an amazing ornament to fix - Obidome.
”L" seems to belong and exclusively made on a special occasion to the honorable club in Japan "Lions Club".
Lions Clubs International is an international non-political service organization established originally in 1917 in Chicago, Illinois, by Melvin Jones. It is now headquartered in Oak Brook, Illinois. (wiki)
It reads Yanagibashi - the old Oiran area in Tokyo. Love the flare of the nice and old Japan.
Can be removed and added to other obijime.
