Product code: Vintage circa 1930's measurograph used for cloth materials by dressmakers, outlet upholsterers and tailors. Swiss made with unknown maker's mark.

Though I've not been able to positively identify this item because it looks very similar to an opisometer which is a mapping measure you run along a map to determine distance. This item however has measures in Yards outlet and so more likely is for measuring out fabric perhaps used for upholstery or tailors, dressmakers etc. This is Swiss made with a makers mark but no name. Has a bail similar to a pocketwatch that the worker could remove to measure and then return to the pocket. Measures 2 1/4" with a nickel chrome finish. Very cool and scarce item.
