*I believe that hate is just the lack of love. Whoever hates simply has never known what love is or how to properly show it. So give love, and all will heal.
*This charcoal drawing was an originally a hand study from my drawing class. We were instructed to depict a set of hands in action, and I wanted to make something more meaningful than simply two hands in motion. I have always loved this quote and thought it would be a perfect addition to my drawing of hands forming a heart.
*The paper is 18" x 24", but I chose to hang it at a tilt to maximize my drawing space and create an interesting composition.
