This framed cross stitch Williamsburg sampler was bought at a sale in Washington County in Pennsylvania. Exceptional, well done, very detailed. The white spot is a reflection in the glass from the camera flash.
It contains the alphabet, numbers, a coat of arms, trees, clouds, the very detailed Williamsburg building, a boarder and "The Capital Williamsburg in VA. ( outlet which I think is very interesting) Very colorful! It's stitched on ecru fabric. There is some very light staining and aging, which is understandable. The frame is wood, painted black with some wear.
Measurements are: 17" x 1 4".
