Product code: Vintage French Fabric Floral outlet with black ground and soft ribbed weave by the yard picotage

Such a lovely find ~ this fabric is an unused wide length of Vintage French cotton dress fabric dating from circa 1920-1930. ~ Gorgeous unused condition! ~*~ ~ This fabric has a ribbed weave with a short pile feel that is soft and velvety, reminiscent of corduroy, though the ribbed are not as pronounced. The fabric is a heavy weight and durable. The ground tone is black, spotted with tiny white dots and small white and medium blue toned flowers. The back side is plain and black. The selvages are intact. This fabric is very wide to accommodate all kinds of projects! ~*~ Ideal for clothing, light upholstery, pillows, curtains, design inspiration etc. The pictures do not do this textile justice!! It is very hard to photograph dark textiles like this. ~*~ Machine washable! ~ ~*~ ( E129 )

MEASUREMENTS : ~ I am selling this fabric by the yard so each quantity will measure 36 inches long ( 1 yard ) by about 37 inches wide. If you would like a longer continuous length simply increase the quantity and outlet we will send you a complete, uncut piece. For example, if you would like 4 yards of this fabric, simply increase the quantity to 4 and you will receive a length of fabric measuring 4 yards long by 37 inches wide.

CONDITION : This length is in as found, unwashed condition. This bolt is musty, and you will want to wash it to remove lint & the slight smell prior to use. This should be machine washable, but you may want to test a small piece first to be sure the texture does not alter and that the dyes do not bleed. It should probably be hung to dry or tumbled without heat. There are a few pale marks on the ground, but only a few on the whole bolt!! Condition reflected in the price.
