Hand Carved Wooden Pipe outlet Rest

outlet This is a beautifully carved item from the 1930s. It is all done by hand. There is a small terrier type dog sitting and looking at a giant hat. The hat has some accent painting, as well as the dog. I believe this was carved as a pipe rest originally, but can easily be used as a trinket dish. It has some minimal age related wear, consistent with age. Measures approximately 9 x 3 3/4 x 3 1/2 inches high. Please study photos carefully as all sales are final.
